A Team You Can Trust!

“What really sets perfect drift outfitters apart is that we have a great core group of guides. My main goal when I started up as an outfitter was to have the best guide service possible, and focus in on people. I feel like the guides who work for me are the most passionate, positive people, and they have fished all over.” -HR Hoffman

MEET OUR GUIDES

HR Hoffman
Owner/Guide

HR started his guiding and outfitting career in 1997 while working with Greg and Janet Lilly at Healing Waters Lodge. He was surrounded by a great group of core guides that fished The Big Hole, Beaverhead, Madison and Ruby River, as well as spring creeks. In 2007 he created Perfect Drift Outfitters with three goals in mind: 1. To have the best guide service around, 2. To show unmatched hospitality, 3. To give all anglers the best possible experience. With HR’s passion and positive energy, it is clear to see that his 3 goals were easily met.

Callahan Hoffman
Guide

Callahan was born and raised in Dillon, Montana. Most of his life has been spent doing what he loves: fishing and hunting. He comes from a long line of fishing experts, so some would say he was born into it. Callahan is a freshman at MSU studying AG business and competes on the track team. His patience, dedication, and positive attitude are what make him one of the best guides around. Perfect Drift is proud to have him representing the brand.

Cooper Hoffman
Guide

Cooper's ultimate passion is fly fishing in Montana. He was born and raised in Dillon, Montana. Cooper is currently a junior at MSU and is appropriately studying fishing and wildlife management. He also is an athlete on the track team. During his free time, he is dedicated to drifting and fishing in his favorite rivers. Cooper prides himself on giving all guests the best experience fishing in Montana, and Perfect Drift is prideful to employ one of the best, young guides in Southwest Montana.

Cody Meine
Guide

Cody was born and raised in Southwestern Montana. Since the early nineties, he has been involved in the fly-fishing industry. From a shop kid in high school, to a guide, and then outfitter; it’s still always been about the fish. He is now doing what he enjoys the most: showing visitors a great time on the waters of Southwestern Montana. We keep him busy guiding so instead of being out and catching fish alone, he can share his techniques, knowledge, and love for the sport with other anglers.
